After sensing a calling to help those who would be left behind, Operation Tribulation Rescue (OTR) was launched in November of 2010. It is imperative that we warn people of Jesus’ return, equip those left behind and evangelize (share the good news of Jesus Christ). This website, www.tribulationrescue.com is one of many outreach vehicles used by OTR to accomplish our mission. You will not see the date of the Lord’s return (rapture) posted on this website. The Bible clearly states, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36). After the rapture, we must warn people that Jesus is coming again to earth. Then it will be no secret. The Bible tells us that Jesus will return seven prophetic years (2,520 days; Revelation 11:2-3, 12:6) after the Israel-antichrist peace treaty is signed. Be ready!
OTR does not accept donations. This organization is operated totally by a volunteer force. If you would like to join the Tribulation Rescue Team, please go to “Contact/Join Us”. Our goal is to have Tribulation Rescue Team members in every nation of the world. Please pray for this ministry and for those who will be (or who are) left behind.
Most people don’t really understand what the rapture is. It is simply the return of Jesus Christ to take all his believers to heaven before the seven-year Great Tribulation begins. After the rapture there will be more than six billion people left behind and they will be scared, confused and looking for answers. Many will go to the internet and other sources trying to make sense of it all and will be deceived by false teaching. Unfortunately, most church and Christian ministry websites do not provide information specifically for those left behind. All kinds of theories will be proposed to explain what happened to the millions who disappeared. A powerful delusion will then fall over the hearts and minds of those left behind, “so that they will believe the lie” (2 Thessalonians 2:11). Jesus warned those at the end of the age, “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.” (Matthew 24:4-5). Thankfully God’s Word, prayer, the love of Christ and the witness of fulfilled prophecy will be able to cut through the delusion.
We realize that most people will not listen to the warning that Jesus is coming. It was the same in the days of Noah (Matthew 24:37-39). Part of our mission is to plant seeds now so that God can cause explosive growth following the rapture and throughout the Great Tribulation. It is our prayer that millions of people will trust in Christ during the Great Tribulation. If only five percent of six billion people get saved – that represents 300 million people. Lord willing, many more than this will be saved because we know that the Lord does not want “anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9). Challenging times are in store for those left behind, "For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will. Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.” (Matthew 24:21-22). We pray that God will work in mighty ways in these last days and that the Tribulation Rescue Team will play a part in this end-time evangelism explosion and the greatest revival in human history. We are fervently praying even now for those who will be left behind. If you are reading this after the rapture, you are not alone. Jesus said, “and surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20). You can be sure that you are in our prayers. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.” (Ephesians 6:10).
